Location of Access Routes
1- Access routes shall be located so that the principal entrance and every access opening located not less than 3 m and not more than 15 m.
2- Up to 90 m length: No turnaround required.
3- More than 90 M with a dead-end: Hammer-head” or turnaround required for any dead-end portion of the access route more than 90 m long.
4- Between 12o m and 200 m length: Emergency access route required (minimum 6 m wide) Emergency access road must connect to public thoroughfare.
5- Over 200 m length: Full public road standard (9.0 m minimum width) connecting to public thoroughfare.
